Ckmer Building, a company under Cameroonian law with its registered office at Bonamoussadi, Denver, Douala, Cameroon, is committed to protecting the privacy of the users of its website. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it and what rights you have over it.

Contact form
When you fill in our contact form, we collect: your first name, your last name, your email address, your phone number (optional), your company name (optional), the nature of your need and a free description of your project.
Browsing data
Our site may automatically collect anonymous technical data such as your IP address, the type of browser used, the pages visited and the duration of your visit, for statistical purposes and to improve the service.
2. Purposes of processing
Handling your requests
The data collected via the contact form is used exclusively to respond to your request, prepare a quote, offer you our services or contact you in connection with a project.
Transmission via WhatsApp
After submitting the form, your information is sent via the WhatsApp Business platform (Meta Platforms, Inc.) to our sales team. This transmission is secured by WhatsApp's end-to-end encryption. By using our form, you consent to this transmission.
3. Retention period
Contact data
Your contact data is kept for the time needed to handle your request and, in the case of a business relationship, for the duration of that relationship plus the applicable legal limitation periods (generally 5 years under Cameroonian law).
Deletion
Upon expiry of these periods, your data is deleted or anonymised. You may also request early deletion by contacting us (see section 5).
4. Legal basis for processing
Consent and legitimate interest
The processing of your data is based on your explicit consent when submitting the form, as well as on our legitimate interest in handling the business requests sent to us. Our activity is governed by Cameroonian law No. 2010/012 of 21 December 2010 on cybersecurity and cybercrime, as well as by the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for interactions with European Union nationals.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of and object to your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us by email at serviceclient@ckmer-building.com or by post at our address below. We undertake to respond within 30 days.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against any unauthorised access, loss, destruction or accidental disclosure. Your data is never sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

Your information may only be passed on to providers strictly necessary for the delivery of your project (technical subcontractors, material suppliers), in strict compliance with confidentiality.
